Delete a recorded balance

DELETE 
/financial-accounts/:id/balances/:balanceId

Removes one recorded balance. A banking or calculated row is refused (422): both are reproducible from their producer, so the delete would be undone by the next import or snapshot. Requires scope finance.accounts.write.

Rate limit exceeded for this token. Reads and writes have separate budgets, both on a 1-hour sliding window. The response carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset and Retry-After — wait out Retry-After rather than retrying immediately.
