Cost Centers

Cost Centers (/cost-centers) allow allocating expenses and revenues to departments, projects, or company areas. They support percentage allocation: a single document can be split across multiple cost centers.

Percentage Allocation

When linking cost centers to a payable or receivable, you can distribute the amount across multiple centers:

The sum of percentages must equal exactly 100%. The system validates and automatically rebalances percentages when adding or removing centers.

Allocation in Installments

For installment documents, cost center allocation is automatically propagated to all installments in the group.

CSV Import

CSV import accepts a single cost center per line (cost_center_name column). For multiple allocation, edit manually after import.

Deletion

A cost center can only be deleted when it has no linked documents.
