My profile
My profile (/profile) shows your account information. It is the only internal destination in the user menu — the avatar in the top right corner.
What the screen shows
Three cards:

Who you are is not editable here. Name and email come from the sign-in, and there is no password — see below for why. What the screen does keep are preferences: theme, language and whether Getting Started is shown.
How you sign in
This product does not use passwords. There are two paths, and neither asks for one — but they are not interchangeable:
- Sign in with Kobana — this is the front door. Your Kobana account authenticates you, and it is how anyone without access to Smart Finance arrives.
- Magic link — you give your email and get a single-use sign-in link, valid for 15 minutes. It only works for someone who already has access: an email that has not been granted anything receives no link at all.
The email form may not be on the sign-in screen. Some environments leave only "Sign in with Kobana". The magic link still works for whoever already uses it — it simply stops being offered.
That is why there is no password to register, no password to change, and no "forgot my password": the email is the identity. The time zone is not configurable here either.
Signing in is not the same as having access
Authenticating proves who you are; getting into the product depends on your having a workspace. When the two do not line up, the sign-in works and you stop at a screen that explains why:

The creation screen is not a form. Company name and tax ID come from your Kobana account's registration — you check and confirm, typing nothing. That is also why it only appears on the Kobana sign-in: the magic link authenticates an email, not an account, and carries none of that data.
If you administer the account on Kobana and your company's workspace already exists, you get in directly: the sign-in recognizes your administrator role and grants access without an invitation. The exception is having had your access paused — the pause wins.
The Back button, in the corner, returns to the previous screen.
Getting there
Click your avatar in the top right corner and choose My profile.
The top of the menu shows your email, your name and the active workspace, with Manage account — which opens your Kobana account in another tab, and only appears in environments where that address is configured.
Below it, the menu also offers Privacy policy, Security policy, Terms of use, and Sign out — the first three open external pages.
Switching workspaces
Not here. The card only shows which one is active. To switch, use the selector in the application header or the Workspaces screen.
